We started as an inspection company in 2006. Prior to that,  I had spent quite a number of years in the Fire Service Industry in various capacities. I possess a Fire Science Degree from Lake Superior State University. I was employed as a First Class Firefighter and a Senior Fire Prevention Officer in 2 different full time departments as well as own and operate this company for the past 18 years. I have attended numerous courses and seminars dealing specifically with wood burning systems including both their benefits and inherent problems. The wood heating industry has come a long way in the last 30 years along with significant improvements and you the home owner need to be aware of them.
